I work most frequently in the humanities; my current specialisms are the arts, history, music and biography.
However, I have an enquiring mind and always love to discover new areas of knowledge.
My professional background in music and understanding of music theory and the history of music means I am especially suited to these topics. I have a deep familiarity with the histories of jazz, classical and popular music.
I hold a BA Hons degree in Fine Art from the University of the Arts London. I have a wide breadth of knowledge of the history of art, with a particular focus on the European avant-garde of the 20th century.
My other major area of interest is ancient history and archaeology, particularly that of the Aegean Bronze Age and Ancient Near East. In addition, I have a deep interest in literature, philosophy and sport.
I have a familiarity with the German, Portuguese and French languages.
